Willow Oaks Stories & Songs is a southern children's brand creating beautifully illustrated storybooks with digital music and plush companions. We make storytime remembered for a lifetime! A perfect baby shower, toddler birthday, or preschool/kindergarten teacher resource gift! The "Cocoa and Snow" Storybook & Plush Collection creates an atmosphere for connection time and inspires a love for music in young children. The illustrated storybook comes with a simple lead sheet in the back of the book to help with learning to sight-read sheet music. The simple repetition of the story and song helps children learn to sight-read words as well. Perfect for ages birth to 8 years of age.
Our Mission
Willow Oaks Stories & Songs is a southern children's brand committed to changing the world, one family, at a time by giving a portion of our product and proceeds to support organizations that bring victimized children out of compromised positions – whether it be by partnering with a national technology company that finds exploited children, or by giving to a local domestic violence shelter that affords a mother and her child the opportunity to build an emotionally healthy home life.
About the Author
Meshelle is a graphic design teacher, songwriter, and illustrator. She earned her MFA in Creative Technologies and Practice at the University of South Alabama, and her Bachelor of Science degree in Worship Leadership, Music Business at the University of Mobile, where she wrote and recorded the song "Cocoa and Snow" after being inspired by her three boys and their pet bunnies. She loves animals, fruit trees, bike trails, motorcycles, canoeing, and all things beach. After years of traveling as an Army dependent, she now calls the Alabama Gulf Coast home.
